Utsav

Every student has innate potential. We only nurture the nature in correct way and help them become a balanced and productive human being. Health does not merely depend on food and nutrition, it requires reinforcement of human values and qualities equally, for a sound social and mental health. Students Health Home's UTSAB is aimed to do so. Thus it is something more than a cultural and sports competition.

Around five thousand students from different corners of the society participate in UTSAB organised by about 35 regional centres across the state every year. Hundreds of teachers, doctors, social workers, volunteers and guardians play active roles in this programme. Recitation, singing, drawing, debating, extempore speech, dancing, essay writing, poster making and in so many other ways the students from primary class to university level perform and present themselves . They take part in Yogasan, Kabadi, Football, Khokho and other sports.

Students eagerly wait for UTSAB as it provides them with an opportunity of a joyful environment of performance and participation. Even in hard days of pandemic, Home organized online UTSAB to cater the need of the students. UTSAB culminates in state level meet where the toppers of regional level meet prove their excellence once again.

From the very first day, UTSAB has been patronized and supported by renowned artists, poets, academicians, film makers, sports personalities and leaders of national and international repute. Students Health Home inculcates unity in diversity through the events of UTSAB and thus advocates for an integrated society.

Last year state level UTSAB was organized in a befitting manner at Gangarampur. This year, state level meet of UTSAB 2023 is scheduled to be held at Habra. Home was compelled to organize UTSAB online due to Covid 19 pandemic protocols.

Very soon, this year, UTSAB will back with its the original flavour of hundred flowerbloom.
